“NAD’s” is an Australian company that produces a deluxe range of hair removal products. Their competitor’s advertising relies on ‘glitz and glamour’ tactics and celebrity endorsements to promote themselves and while celebrities are pretty to look at, is it really believable that Jessica Alba has the same beauty concerns as the regular person? Exactly. So we thought that NAD’s should capitalise on this – NAD’s is a family-owned, Australian company, driven by real people who make products for real people.
So who are these “Real People”?
In this TV Commecial we’ve covered three main markets;
- 20-30yo (working) women
- Mums (of all ages)
- Aussies (in this case a hard working farm-girl)
Our television commercial presents the moments when “Real People” need to use NAD’s products. Be it in a workplace bathroom, household bahthroom or a horse stable, we showed that Nads is quick and easy – even with one leg up on a bail of hay!
Finally, on the closing screen, we showed an Australian Beauty Award that NADs had recently won, with the words “As voted for by real people” to tie it all together.
It was a long two-day shoot for everyone. At the end of it we had to get back to the studio and download it over the next 24 hours. We then pored through hours of footage and sound, selected the gems, worked some visual magic, added voice-over, music and titles.
