What makes good graphic design good?

Graphic design combines the use of white space, colour, typography and images.

It exists to serve business as a tool. A tool that can give any business great leverage.

Good graphic design can be used to educate a consumer, sell a new product or service, even promote a political party.

Experienced graphic designers know how to use their craft to attract the eye of their consumer.
Should they use lots of copy to explain a complex message or will a single well thought out photograph with a simple copy line achieve a better result?
Most good graphic designers put themselves in the shoes of their target consumer. They think about how much time their consumer will have to view and decipher the message. They consider the environment that the message will be delivered in. They will often look to try and engage more than one sense of the consumer. Trying to find new and often innovative ways to connect with their audience through the use of patterns and textures.

One thing is for sure, You’ll know good design when you see it.
Our eye gets attracted to things of beauty and something about good design makes you want to look at it for longer than you should.

Its worth investing into good graphic design because it can give your company far greater leverage than your initial investment.

Brand Positioning, Google and all other good things

Hope Advertising have just created New Brand Positioning for Community Pharmacy.
Community Pharmacy is a unique concept where members can save from  15% – 50% off every product in every store every day.

• There’s no complicated points system.
• Just immediate savings.

More importantly, Community Pharmacy is a “Not for Profit” which means profit is returned to its members through lower prices across the board.

“We Care For You Not For Profit”
Is the positioning created by the team at Hope Advertising to promote Community Pharmacy’s
Unique point of difference.

Christmas Catalogue & Point of Sale
The latest catalogue is hot off the press and being delivered into letterboxes
near each of theirr 11 stores. Everything from From Design through to Finished Art even Photography was produced by us in-house.

One of the challenges we faced was to simply show
the consumer the value that Community Pharmacy presents.

To do this we had to show 3 prices. 1.RRP, 2.Non-Member Price & 3.Members Price.

The catalogue was complimented with a full in-store point of sale to dress it up and create to create excitement and colour.

So What do you think so far Tony?

Community Pharmacy Marketing Manager Tony McWilliams

“HopeAD should be very proud of what they have produced. The Christmas Catalogue is magnificent.

We were not as organised as we would like to have been for this catalogue and the manner in which everyone involved at Hope handled our constant requests for changes was exemplary.
In all, a great experience.”
